QUEBEC, P.Q., Que. -- The Quebec Capitales (62-32) scored the game's final five runs, including two in the bottom of the ninth for a 5-4 walk-off win over the Saltdogs (39-55) in front of 3,155 fans at Stade Municipal Tuesday night.

With P.J. Zocchi going for his club-record 23rd save of the campaign, leadoff man Jeff Helps started the last of the ninth by drawing a walk. Jonathan Malo then doubled to right to score Helps and tie the game at 4-4.

Sebastian Boucher grounded a single in to center field to score Malo and give the Caps the walk-off, series-opening win.

The Saltdogs started quickly, building a 4-0 lead after two innings. Quebec battled back with three in the seventh to get within striking distance.

Ryan Sheldon's 6 1/3 innings of six strikeout, one-run ball went in vain. T.J. Stanton (2-2) worked a scoreless ninth to pick up the win. Zocchi (1-3) allowed two runs on two hits with a walk to suffer the loss.

Rohan finished 3-for-4 with a double, run and RBI and now has 11 hits through the first four games of the 10-game road trip.

The teams are back at it Wednesday night at 6:05 p.m. for game two of the four-game set. Radio coverage begins at 5:35 p.m. on KFOR 1240.
