
Local Northwest Indiana Child to be "RailCat for a Day"

Strategic Financial Group, LLC., one of the Midwest's leading integrated wealth management firms, announced today the company's plans to grant the wish of a local boy in collaboration with Make-A-Wish(r) for a second straight year at their client appreciation party. Seventeen-year-old Wish Child Brandon will be a "Minor Leaguer" for the day at a Gary SouthShore RailCats game on Tuesday, August 28th at 7:10p.m. Brandon will throw out the ceremonial first pitch in his new team's jersey, be on the field for the RailCats batting and fielding routine, be present in the sacred locker room for the motivational pep talk, and hang out with Rusty the RailCat.
Fans & supporters are encouraged to join Strategic Financial Group at the Gary RailCats ballpark that evening. Make-A-Wish(r) representatives will be present to collect donations from the general public. Any proceeds donated at the ballpark will help grant wishes to Indiana area Wish Children who are currently battling life-threatening medical conditions. For those who can't make it out to the game, Strategic Financial Group will be collecting donations prior to the game at their surrounding offices. Currently, the Indiana region has 232 children waiting for their wish to come true.
