Puck Drops for Season Opener Friday

Get ready Condorstown! This weekend is opening weekend for the 2006-07 season as the Bakersfield Condors host the Stockton Thunder on Friday and the Idaho Steelheads on Saturday. Both games start at 7:00pm at Rabobank Arena. Doors open at 6:00pm.
For Friday's opener every fan in attendance will receive a free Condors magnetic schedule, courtesy of KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230 and Grand Island Pools.
Saturday, the first 2,000 children, 12 and under, will receive a Condors glow in the dark Trick-or-Treat Bucket, courtesy of KGET-TV 17 and McMillin Homes. Captain Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" will be in attendance. Wear your Halloween costume as Captain Jack will be available for photo opportunities.
After the game on Friday stop by the Holiday Inn Select Autograph Booth and get your souvenir program signed by Sean Venedam and Scott Borders. The Autograph Booth is located on the concourse behind section 108. On Saturday, visit Reagan Leslie and Danny Stewart as they sign Trick- or-Treat buckets and nightly notes.
To kick off opening weekend, join Jake Stevens, Voice of the Condors, and Head Coach Marty Raymond live at the Condors Coach's Show this Thursday at the Q Street Lounge inside the Holiday Inn Select. Special guests include players Mike Hofstrand and Joel Irving. The Coach's Show can also be heard on KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230. For more information please contact the Condors office at 324- PUCK (7825). On Sunday, the Condors play their first road game of the regular season as they travel to Long Beach for a 5:00pm puck drop at the Long Beach Arena.
Most games, home and away, can be seen online through B2 Networks, accessible via Sunday'www.bakersfieldcondors.com (excluding Sunday's game in Long Beach), and can be heard live on KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230 with "Condors Countdown" starting 15 minutes prior to face off. Saturday's game will be televised live on Bright House Ch. 21 and re-aired Sunday at 7:00pm. All games can also be heard online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com.

Individual game tickets are now on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10am - 6pm Monday through Friday and 10am - 4pm on Saturday with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through at 322-2525, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
