RoadRunners Make Several Transactions

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and San Antonio Rampage, have traded forward John Hecimovic to the Dayton Bombers for future considerations and released goaltender Kevin Reiter from his try-out agreement.
The RoadRunners have also placed forward Aaron Slattengren on the three-day injured reserve and defenseman Matt Smyth on the seven day injured reserve, and have placed forward Todd Jackson and goaltender Cody Rudkowsky each on the 30-day injured reserve.
The team also announced the suspension of defenseman Brent Henley.
In conjunction with the above transactions, the RoadRunners have announced their 2006-07 Opening Night roster. The roster includes forwards Tommy Maxwell, Scott May, Yannick Tifu, Cam Paddock, Jeff Kyrzakos, Justin Aikins, Travis Lisabeth, Scott Seney, Lance Monych, Liam Lindstrom, Joe Dusbabek, and Brett Smith; defensemen Dusty Demianiuk, Andrew Winnik, Paul Ballantyne, Jake Ortmeyer, Alexandre Rouleau, and Nikita Korovkin; and goaltender Josh Tordjman.
Demianiuk, Dusbabek, and Ballantyne each return for a second season in a RoadRunners uniform. Monych, Lindstrom, and Tordjman have all been assigned by the parent Phoenix Coyotes, while Rouleau has been assigned by the San Antonio Rampage.
Defenseman Dave Pszenyczny, also listed on the RoadRunners' roster, remains on loan to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 regular season are currently on sale and can be purchased at the US Airways Center Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Ticketmaster.com.
Opening Night 2006 at US Airways Center is this Friday as the RoadRunners welcome the Utah Grizzlies at 7:11PM for the first game of an opening weekend three-game series. Information on season tickets, half-season packages, and flex plans are available by calling (602) 462-GOAL.
