Frozen at Home: The Wheat Kings got off to a hot start but were quickly cooled down by the Ice for the remainder of the game allowing the Ice to head back to Winnipeg with a 4-1 win. Only goal for the Wheat Kings was scored by Nolan Ritchie with most of the play spent inside the Wheat Kings zone. Forward Connor McClennon and blue liner Ben Zloty finished with multi point nights
Welcome to the Peg: This won't be any ordinary road game for the Brandon Wheat Kings. After spending their first 13 games on the road, the Winnipeg Ice will finally return to Wayne Fleming Arena Saturday night. The Wheat Kings should expect a big crowd in hostile territory. The last time the Wheat Kings defeated the Winnipeg Ice inside Wayne Fleming arena, you have to go back to December 18th 2021 when the Wheat Kings won 4-2. The Wheat Kings went 1-4 in Winnipeg last year.
