Prince George Cougars News Release
The Prince George Cougars home-stand continues into the weekend as they host the Wenatchee Wild for the first time in franchise history. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 pm at the CN Centre.
With a full lineup, the Cougars collected a pair of victories over the Kelowna Rockets earlier this week with the most recent victory coming Wednesday night by an 8-1 count. Terik Parascak, Oren Shtrom, and Tyson Buczkowski all had three-point games in the win, and goaltender Ty Young made 10 saves on 11 shots for his fourth consecutive victory in as many starts. The Cougars scored three times on the power-play and added a pair of shorthanded goals. "I liked pretty much everything about it," said GM & Head Coach Mark Lamb after Wednesday's win. "Our execution was really good, our special teams was good, and it was just an awesome game for everybody."
The Wenatchee Wild currenlty sport a 1-3-1-0 record entering tonight's game against the Cougars. They are coming off a 6-2 loss to the Vancouver Giants back on Sunday, October 1st.
Following this weekend's games, the Cats will wrap up the home-stand on Wednesday, October 11th against the Swift Current Broncos. Tickets for that game and all Cougars home games can be purchased HERE.
