POWER REPLAY: West Virginia piled up seven runs during the first three innings last night en route to a 8-5 win. Tyler Waldron was the benefactor as he pitched five innings for the second time in as many starts for the win. Six different players drove in a run for West Virginia, which snapped a three-game slide with the victory, and Kawika Emsley-Pai lead the club with three hits. Three other players had two hits apiece.

TOPPING THE LEADERBOARD: Augusta leads the all-time series between the Power with a 21-13 record since 2005, and have been dominant at home, winning 16 times in 22 opportunities. West Virginia never won more than twice during any single trip there since 2005, having gone 1-3 in 2010, getting swept in 2009, winning once in 2008, splitting the series in 2007 at two wins apiece, winning once in 2006, and the Power did not play there in 2005.

WELCOMING COMMITTEE: The Pittsburgh Pirates have added Casey Sadler to the Power roster and shifted Zac Fuesser to the State College Spikes squad. Sadler was selected in the 25th round of the 2010 draft from Western Oklahoma State University where he went 10-1 as a sophomore with a 3.12 ERA. Fuesser had pitched in two games this season for West Virginia, going 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA, including four shutout innings in a spot start on Thursday. This is the first roster move of the 2011 season.

PINPOINT CONTROL: West Virginia pitchers have combined to walk just 13 batters this season, by far the fewest in the league. Lakewood has played one less game and has the second lowest total at 20. Conversely, Delmarva has played one more game than the Power, but has walked a combined total of 41 batters.

ON THE ROAD: West Virginia continues its first road trip of 2011 this afternoon at 2:05 pm. The Power close out this set against the GreenJackets on Monday evening and start a five game series in Kannapolis on Tuesday. West Virginia's next homestand starts on April 25 with five games against Bryce Harper's Hagerstown Suns and concludes with a four game series against Greensboro.

BACK FOR MORE: Rogelio Noris hit 15 home runs for West Virginia during the 2010 season and enters the year eighth all-time in Power history in the category. Stephen Chapman holds the single-season record with 24, which is also the most by any player during his stint with West Virginia. Noris is two behind Andrew LaFave's 17 for seventh all-time and four away from moving into the top five.

ROSTER RUNDOWN: The 2011 Power roster features 16 players drafted by Pittsburgh within the last two years, four players who saw South Atlantic League action in 2010 with the Power, and four ranked within Baseball America's top 25 for the entire Pirates organization. Rogelio Noris, Zach Foster, Jairo Marquez, and Andy Vasquez all saw action in 2010 with the Power. Zack Von Rosenberg rates ninth followed by Colton Cain (13), Zack Dodson (18), and Mel Rojas Jr. (23).

POWER POINTS: West Virginia plays 14 home games during April and nine on the road. The Power went 9-12 during April of 2010, hit .239, and held a staff ERA of 3.80... Only three teams have hit more batters this season than West Virginia (8): Asheville, Delmarva, and Greensboro pitching staffs have hit ten each.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION: Pittsburgh fell 11-2 at Cincinnati... Indianapolis beat up on Louisville 7-1 as Rudy Owens garnered his second win of the season... Altoona did not play... Bradenton gave up five runs in the sixth inning against Fort Myers and lost 9-6.

ON THE AIR: All 140 West Virginia Power games can be heard on ESPN 104.5 FM and 1490 AM in Charleston, WV, across the state on the Power Radio Network, and online at milb.com.

Adam Marco will call the action for each of the 70 home games this season, while the home team will provide coverage while the Power are on the road.
