
Postma Recalled by Atlanta

The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled defenseman PAUL POSTMA from the Chicago Wolves.
POSTMA ranks third on the Wolves and second among American Hockey League defensemen with 29 assists and holds fifth on Chicago and is tied for second among league blueliners with 37 points in 56 games this season. The 21-year-old blueliner, who is one of only two Wolves players to have appeared in every game this season, also paces the team with 150 shots on goal, which leads league defensemen.
The Red Deer, Alberta, native matched a franchise record for most goals by a rookie defenseman and finished third overall among league blueliners with 15 goals in 63 games with the Wolves during his first professional campaign last year. He also held second among team defensemen with 29 points.
The Wolves travel to Texas to take on the Houston Aeros on Thursday at 11 a.m.
