Canucks Recall Yann Sauve

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose announced today they have recalled defencemen Yann Sauve.

Sauve, 20, has appeared in 20 games so far this season with the Moose after being recalled from Victoria on Dec. 16/10. In that span, the native of Montreal, PQ has collected two assists and eight penalty minutes. While with the Salmon Kings earlier this season, Sauve played seven games, recording two assists and four penalty minutes.

Sauve was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the second round, 41st overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
