Hamilton Recalls David Urquhart from Wheeling

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that defenceman David Urquhart has been recalled from the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL to the Bulldogs. Urquhart is scheduled to join the 'Dogs in Grand Rapids for their game against the Griffins tomorrow night.

Urquhart, 26, played in 15 games with the Bulldogs this season recording one assist and six penalty minutes. The native of Thorold, Ontario has also appeared in 24 games with Wheeling this season registering nine points (one goal, eight assists) and 32 penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 190-pound defenceman has played a total of 122 AHL games amassing 19 points (six goals, 13 assists) and 76 penalty minutes.

The Bulldogs will battle the Griffins in Grand Rapids on Wednesday, February 16th for a 7:00 p.m. game. All regular season Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts on AM 820 CHAM will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
