AHL Announces Suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch right wing Matt Kennedy has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game at Norfolk on Feb. 12.

Kennedy was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 46.21.

Kennedy will miss Syracuse's game Wednesday (Feb. 16) at Adirondack.
