First 3,000 Fans at February 19 Game to Receive Commemorative Mirabito Outdoor Classic Poster

Syracuse, NY (February 15, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that in celebration of the one-year anniversary of the Mirabito Outdoor Classic, they will give away a commemorative Mirabito Outdoor Classic poster to the first 3,000 fans at their Saturday, February 19 game vs. Rochester, courtesy of Powerade.

The 28 x 18-inch poster depicts a collage of photos from the game, highlighted by a panoramic view of the rink and grandstand.

The Syracuse Crunch became the first-ever AHL team to host an outdoor game on February 20, 2010. The Mirabito Outdoor Classic set a league single-game attendance record, as 21,508 fans packed the New York State Fairgrounds to watch the Crunch defeat the rival Binghamton Senators, 2-1. The event was deemed a major success for the team and league, and was broadcast live regionally on Time Warner Cable Sports and to an international television audience on NHL Network.

The Crunch travel to Adirondack to face the Phantoms on Wednesday, February 16 before returning home this weekend with a pair of home games against San Antonio on Friday, February 18 and Rochester on Saturday, February 19 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
