
Plefka Placed on Waivers

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that right-handed pitcher Jon Plefka has been placed on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting him his release.
Plefka, 27, was 1-1 with a 8.31 ERA in five appearances this season with Winnipeg.
The Goldeyes have 21 players on their roster, including 11 pitchers and 21 position players.
Winnipeg continues a six-game home stand tonight against the Gary SouthShore RailCats. Game time is 7 p.m.
