Playoff Tickets Go On Sale Next Friday

Augusta, GA - With the Augusta GreenJackets in contention for what would be their fourth straight playoff berth, the GreenJackets Box Office announces the sale of playoff tickets to the general public, beginning with a special online launch at 5 p.m. Friday August 28th on the team's official website.
Playoff ticket packages and single game playoff tickets will go on sale on August 28th with a special launch at www.greenjacketsbaseball.com. Beginning the following Monday, August 31st, fans can call the GreenJackets front office at (706) 922-WINS to purchase playoff tickets.
Per South Atlantic League rules, tickets will rise $2 for the playoff games for each seating classification. Single game box seats will be $13, Reserved Seating will be $10 and General Admission will be $9. General Admission for Children 4-12, Military (with an ID card) and Seniors (over 60) are $8 while Children three and under are $1.
Refunds will be given to any home playoff game not played. Fans will have until Friday September 27th to present the playoff tickets from the games not played for a refund. Tickets must be saved for a refund and be presented to the GreenJackets front office; no refund can be issued without the actual ticket to exchange.
Tickets are currently on sale for season ticket holders to purchase. Season ticket holders will have special pricing available to them until the general public sale opens on Friday August 28th and can call (706) 922-WINS and speak with their GreenJackets account representative to purchase their playoff package.
Season ticket holders that already purchased their 2009 Playoff Ticket Credit as a part of their ticket package for this year will have their tickets available in Will Call if and when the GreenJackets qualify for the 2009 South Atlantic League postseason.
The chase for the postseason continues with the GreenJackets currently in the thick of a six-game homestand, hosting a doubleheader on the season's final Thirsty Thursday against the Savannah Sand Gnats. First pitch comes at 5 p.m. and you may purchase seats to Thursday's game and every home game by calling 706-922-WINS or online at www.greenjacketsbaseball.com.
