SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls will face the Bakersfield Condors in the first round of the 2003 Taylor Cup Playoffs. It's uncertain who will have home-ice advantage right now, but dates have officially been set for both scenarios.
Here's the schedule if San Diego finishes with the No. 2 seed:
Game 1 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 11 @ Bakersfield
Game 2 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12 @ Bakersfield
Game 3 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 @ San Diego
Game 4 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 @ San Diego
Game 5 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 18 @ San Diego*
Game 6 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 20 @ Bakersfield*
Game 7 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 @ San Diego*
Here's the schedule if San Diego finishes with the No. 3 seed
Game 1 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 11 @ Bakersfield
Game 2 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12 @ Bakersfield
Game 3 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 @ San Diego
Game 4 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 18 @ San Diego

*If necessary
Friday home games in the postseason will start at 7:30 p.m. Sunday home games will begin at 5 p.m. with "Skate with the Gulls" held immediately afterward (unless it's a deciding game). All other home games will continue to start at 7 p.m.
Playoff ticket packages are currently on sale through the San Diego Sports Arena box office or www.sandiegogulls.com. Individual tickets go on sale starting Friday, April 4 through the box office or Ticketmaster.
Dates and times of the second round - Taylor Cup Finals - will be announced at a later date. It will also be a best-of-seven format.
