Pirates Sign Roloff

PORTLAND, ME - The Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League announced today that they have signed Brian Roloff to a AHL Standard Player's Contract.

The 24 year-old from West Seneca, NY has appeared in all 21 games for the Pirates this season collecting five assists and four penalty minutes.

Roloff played five games for the Providence Bruins in 2009-10 after he finished his collegiate career at Vermont.

The next Pirates home game takes place tonight (Saturday, December 4th) when the Norfolk Admirals visit the Civic Center for a Bud Light Hockey Night in Portland in a 7 p.m. start. State Farm presents the Teddy Bear Toss. Bring a teddy bear to toss on the ice when the Pirates score their first goal. All bears will be donated to local charities in advance of the holiday season.
