
Pirates Playoff Tickets On Sale Monday

PORTLAND, ME - The Portland Pirates announced today that tickets for the team's first series in the 2003 Calder Cup Playoff will go on sale on Monday, April 7 at 12:00 noon at the Cumberland County Civic Center box office. With many playoff scenarios still possible heading into the final weekend of the season, the tickets on sale will be for a qualifying series hosted in Portland and/or a first round series.
Advance ticket prices for the qualifying and first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs are as follows:
Captain's Deck: $19
Main Deck: $16
Quarter Deck: $11
Children/Senior: $9 (Main or Quarter)
Day of game ticket prices will increase by $1 per ticket.
The Pirates are returning to the Calder Cup Playoffs after a one-year hiatus.
The Civic Center box office is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Tickets may also be purchased by phone by calling the Civic Center at 775-3458. In addition, tickets may be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling Ticketmaster at 775-3331 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
The Pirates have two remaining home games in the regular season. On Saturday, they host the Worcester IceCats at 7:05 P.M. On Sunday, they finish the season with the Saint John Flames at 5:05 P.M. Sunday is Fan Appreciation Day. The Pirates will be giving the Shirts Off Their Backs, courtesy of Big Apple Food Marts. The proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Maine. Also on Sunday, the first 1,000 fans through the turnstiles will receive a free water bottle courtesy of the Maine Transportation Safety Coalition. Tickets for both games are on sale all weekend at the Civic Center box office and all Ticketmaster outlets.
