Charlotte, NC - April 3, 2003: The Charlotte Checkers website, www.gocheckers.com will be keeping close track of the East Coast Hockey League Playoffs during the next two months until the Kelly Cu! p Champion is crowned in May. Scores of playoff games and series standings will be updated nightly throughout the playoffs. Checkers season ticket holders, fans and media can get all the latest playoff scores and updates by logging to the Checkers website at www.gocheckers.com, and clicking NEWSROOM on the homepage, and then GAME RECAPS.
Also coming soon on gocheckers.com will be a bi-monthly column by Checkers Director of Communications and Broadcasting, Tim Donelli, which will feature all the latest off-season developments, news and highlights around the East Coast Hockey League. From franchise developments, league merger news, coaching changes and player signings, the column will keep fans and media up-to-date on important news during the off-season.
