Pirates Move Radio Broadcasts for Three Games This Week

PORTLAND, ME - The Portland Pirates announced today that three of their games this week will be broadcast on WLOB, AM-1310 and FM-96.3. The move is being made to accommodate Boston Red Sox broadcasts on the flagship station of the Pirates' Radio Network, WJAB, AM-1440 and FM-95.5.

The broadcast schedule for the upcoming week is as follows:

Sunday, April 6 vs. Saint John 5:05 pm WLOB, AM-1310, FM-96.3

The change will affect only listeners in greater Portland. Fans listening on affiliate stations WTME, AM-780 in Rumford, WKTQ, AM-1450 in South Paris and AM-1220, ESPN Radio in Sanford will not be affected.

All broadcasts begin 15 minutes before the opening face-off with the Portland Pirates' Pre-game show.

Tickets for the two remaining regular season home games are on sale at the Civic Center box office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets may also be purchased by phone by calling the Civic Center at 775-3458 or Ticketmaster at 775-3331 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
