Pigs Try to Take Series from Bisons

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to take the series from the Buffalo Bisons on Sunday afternoon. First pitch from Coca-Cola Park is set for 1:35 p.m.

RHP David Buchanan (3-4, 4.91) gets the ball for the Pigs in the series finale. Buchanan got a no-decision on Tuesday vs. Gwinnett when he gave up four runs on six hits while walking three and fanning a pair in 5.1 IP. The Atlanta native is 1-2 with a 7.33 ERA over his last 4 GS.

LHP Wade LeBlanc (7-2, 1.51) will toe the rubber for the Bisons on Sunday afternoon opposite Buchanan. On Tuesday vs. Durham, LeBlanc earned the win after allowing one run (none earned) on five hits to go along with two walks and 11 strikeouts in eight innings of work. The southpaw currently leads the International League in ERA (1.51) and IP (83.2 IP).

Pigs 1B/OF Darin Ruf has hit safely in seven of his last nine games. In that time, Ruf is hitting .375-1-11 (12-32, 6 2B, 3B, 4 BB, 8 R).

The first 2,000 men 18 and older in attendance on Sunday will receive a BBQ set courtesy of Coordinated Health. Following the game, children 12 and under can participate in "Kids Run the Bases" courtesy of Children's Hospital at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
