LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats were swept by the Pawtucket Red Sox in the final game of a six-game homestand, 5-4.

Scott Schebler continued his unbelievable June with a towering solo home run to right field in the first inning. His sixth home run of June is the most home runs in a month for a Bats player since Ruben Gotay in May of 2014.

With two hits in the third inning, the PawSox tied the game at 1-1. In the fourth, on a solo shot from Bryce Brentz, the PawSox took a 2-1 lead.

The Bats would tie the game in the fifth inning when Seth Mejias-Brean reached on an error, stole second and eventually scored on a Juan Perez double. Two at-bats later, Perez found the plate himself and the Bats regained the lead, 3-2.

In only his second start in the minors, Louisville right-hander Stephen Johnson (0-3, 4.81) pitched five innings, gave up two runs on four hits, walked two, and struck out three.

On the first pitch of the sixth inning, Jermaine Curtis hit his fifth home run of the season and his team-leading 33rd RBI to give the Bats a 4-2 lead.

Pawtucket starter, right-hander William Cuevas (4-3, 3.30) recorded a no-decision after his five and one-thirds innings of work. In his 104 pitch performance, Cuevas gave up six hits, four runs with two of them being earned. He walked two and struck out three.

The PawSox cut their deficit in the seventh inning when Chris Dominguez homered off of Steve Delabar.

Jumbo Diaz had his franchise record streak of 35 and two-thirds consecutive innings without allowing a run snapped when the PawSox took a 5-4 lead in the eighth on the eventual game-winning two RBI single.

In his fourth ML rehab appearance for the Bats, righty Michael Lorenzen pitched a scoreless ninth inning, gave up no hits, struck out two and threw a total of 16 pitches, 10 being strikes.

The Bats will travel to Buffalo to begin a four-game series with the Bisons. Right-hander Jon Moscot (2-3, 6.68) will make the start for Louisville and oppose right-hander Roberto Hernandez (3-2, 4.44).
