Pigs Look to Keep Good Times Rolling

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look for their third straight win when they battle the Gwinnett Braves on Tuesday night at Coolray Field at 7:05 p.m.

LHP James Russell (1-1, 1.16) will be on the bump for the Pigs on Tuesday night. The southpaw got a no-decision on Thursday at Charlotte when he allowed three hits while walking one and fanning four over five shutout innings. In 4 GS with the IronPigs this year, Russell is 0-1 with a 1.00 ERA (18.0/2).

LHP Manny Banuelos (0-0, 3.86) gets the ball for Gwinnett opposite Russell. Banuelos got a no-decision on Friday at Durham after giving up one run to go along with three walks in just one inning of work. The southpaw entered the season ranked as the No. 12 prospect in the Braves system according to Baseball America.

With a pair of hits including a solo home run on Monday, Pigs 1B/OF Darin Ruf has hit safely in eight of his last 11 games. Over that span, Ruf is hitting .372-4-12 (16-43, 2 2B, 10 R, .698 SLG %).
