The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to bounce back against the Pawtucket Red Sox on Wednesday night at McCoy Stadium. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.
RHP David Buchanan (2-2, 3.92) gets the ball for manager Dave Brundage's squad on Wednesday. The right-hander got a no-decision on Thursday vs. Toledo when he gave up one run on eight hits while walking one and fanning one in 7.0 IP. Buchanan has allowed just two earned runs in 15.0 IP over his last 2 GS.
LHP Roenis Elias (1-3, 4.96) will be on the bump for the PawSox opposite Buchanan. Elias got the win on Wednesday vs. Norfolk when he allowed two runs on five hits to go along with 13 strikeouts in 7.2 IP. Over his 6 G (5 GS) this season, the southpaw has fanned 33 batters in 32.2 IP.
After hitting a solo home run on Tuesday, Pigs OF Cam Perkins has hit safely in seven of his last nine games. During that span, Perkins is hitting .323-1-4 (10-31, 2 2B, 4 R, SB).
