CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union today announced that it has entered into a multi-year partnership agreement with Founders Brewing Co., a nationally-acclaimed craft brewery. Founders, in its first partnership with a Major League Soccer team, becomes an official craft beer partner of the Union and Subaru Park ahead of the Union's 2021 MLS season and presenting partner of the "Tickets for Troops" program.
"We are excited to welcome Founders to the Union and Major League Soccer family," said Jean-Paul Dardenne, SVP of Corporate Partnerships at the Philadelphia Union. "We know our fans will love enjoying Founders products responsibly at Subaru Park on game day. Founders shares our belief in being a good community partner and we look forward to hosting the brave men and women who have fought for our country."
"We are thrilled to be part of the Philadelphia Union family. This is our first big foray in to Major League Soccer, and we could not have found a better partner," said Sandy Anaokar, vice president of marketing at Founders Brewing Co. "Union is not only helping us bring our brewery even closer to the Philadelphia fans that we know and love, but they are also providing a unique opportunity to give back to those who served our country with honor."
In addition to Founders product being available in Subaru Park, the Union and Founders have put together the "Tickets for Troops" community outreach campaign in which tickets will be donated to local military members, veterans, and their families to Military Appreciation Night.
