Philadelphia Union Acquire $300,000 in General Allocation Money, up to $625,000 in Conditional GAM, and up to 50% of Future Trade Fee from FC Cincinnati

CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has acquired a guaranteed $300,000 in 2022 General Allocation Money (GAM) from FC Cincinnati in exchange for forward Sergio Santos. The Union could acquire up to an additional $625,000 in GAM if certain performance and contract conditions are met. The Union would also retain up to 50% of any future trade fee Cincinnati receives for Santos' rights.

"We want to thank Sergio for his time spent with the Philadelphia Union." said Union Sporting Director, Ernst Tanner. "He played a major role in our first-ever playoff win and his charisma has contributed to many memorable moments over the past few seasons. We wish him all the best in this next chapter."

Santos was signed by the Union in December 2018 from Chilean Primera Division club, Audax Italiano.
