Pezzetta Update

Sudbury Wolves forward Michael Pezzetta is having a very solid tournament so far in Sarnia, Ontario where the Wolves' 1st round selection has helped to lead his team to a quarter-final berth in the World Challenge U17 tournament.

Pezzetta and Team Canada White finished the round-robin wiih a 2-1 record with wins over Team Canada Black and Team Russia. Team Canada White opened the tournament with a 5-1 loss to Team Finland before responding with two consecutive wins

Pezzetta has two assists in three games and has used his physical game on more than one occasion. Pezzetta absolutely rocked a Russian forward with a thunderous hit and the end of the first period that brought Team Canada fans to their feet in Sarnia.

Team Canada White will play Team Sweden who finished the tournament in first place in their division Pezzetta is expected to play a leading role for Team Canada White against Team Sweden.
