Palmu Named Becker Shoes Player of the Week

Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack has named Import forward Petrus Palmu the Becker Shoes Player of the Week for the Week ending Sunday, November 2nd. Because the Attack had only one game this past week, the previous weeks three games are also included.
In four games, Palmu collected a goal and three assists against wins over Barrie, Kitchener and Guelph last weekend. The Attack defeated the Colts 6-1 with their next three games being decided via shootouts. Petrus scored goals in all three shootouts, with the Attack picking up wins in the first two contests over Kitchener and Guelph before dropping the third game to Kitchener at home last Saturday.
The skilled Finnish forward has 7 goals and 4 assists so far in his rookie campaign, putting him 3rd in rookie scoring.
The Attack is back in action Thursday and Friday when they hit the road to take on the Windsor Spitfires and Plymouth Whalers. The Bears return home on Saturday to tangle with the same Spitfires. Game time on Saturday is 7:30pm.
