Sting Assistant Captain, Anthony DeAngelo has got off to a tremendous start to the 2014-15 Season, picking up 14 points in his first 11 games. In 192 games played with the Sarnia Sting, the Sewell, NJ native has 33 Goals and 133 Assists for 166 points in his OHL career. DeAngelo now also holds the record for most career assists by a Sting defenseman, and if he is to record 15 or more goals before the end of his OHL career, he will surpass Assistant coach, Andy Delmore as the franchise's highest goal scoring defenseman.

DeAngelo was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2011 OHL Priority Selection by the Sarnia Sting and is now enjoying his 4th season as a member of the Sting. Last season, DeAngelo captured the scoring title for OHL defenseman, picking up 71 points in 51 games.
