Petes Select Nicholas Grima and CJ Clarke in Round Two

(Peterborough, ON)- The Peterborough Petes are excited to announce that they have selected Nicholas Grima and CJ Clarke in the second round of the 2015 OHL Priority Selection presented by State Farm.

Grima (2nd round, 25th overall) is a 5'11", 192lbs right defenceman who played for the Toronto Titans minor midget AAAs in the 2014/15 season. In 30 games played, the shut-down defender recorded 3 goals, 5 assists, and 8 points.

"Nick is a smooth skating defender that can move the puck. He has good size and is very mobile," noted OHL Central Scouting. "He's good one-on-one and is rarely caught out of position."

Clarke (2nd round, 29th overall) is a 6'0", 193lbs right winger from the Toronto Marlies minor midget AAA program. In 74 games played, he recorded 31 goals, 33 assists, 64 points and 27 penalty minutes.

"CJ is a good skater, is strong on his skates and his hard to knock off the puck," added OHL Central Scouting. "He has the ability to score pretty goals as well as goals in the dirty areas."

Both Nick and CJ will be in Peterborough at noon for an introductory press conference following the fifth round of the Priority Selection.
