Peterborough Holds off IceDogs

Tonight, the Niagara IceDogs faced off against the Peterborough Petes for the first time this season.

The Petes started out ahead, scoring two goals early in the first. However, The Dogs were able to return one on their power play with a goal from Brice Cooke.

After 20 minutes, the score was 2-1 Petes.

The second period saw two goals from Peterborough.

The third period saw lots of action. Peterborough got one early on, but the Dogs were on their way to a comeback. Captain Cam Butler tallied two and Cam Peters got one.

Ultimately, the IceDogs fell just short, with the Petes taking the win 5-4.
