
Perfect Weather Guarantee for Next Homestand

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, today announced that they will guarantee a gametime temperature of at least 70-degrees for each of the seven games of their next homestand -Thursday, April 23, through Thursday, April 30. If the temperature does not reach at least 70-degrees at gametime, all fans in attendance at that game will receive a free ticket to any Sunday-through-Wednesday game during the remainder of the 2009 regular season (offer excludes Portland Sea Dogs games).
"The weather forecast calls for some absolutely perfect weather in the next week, and we want our fans to take advantage of this early summer feel," said Fisher Cats President/General Manager Rick Brenner. "We've never been ones to challenge Mother Nature, but we hope she'll cooperate with us in giving us temperatures of at least 70 degrees at gametime during the homestand. If we're wrong, all fans on hand get a free ticket!"
The Fisher Cats open a four-game series against the Binghamton Mets at 6:35pm on Thursday, April 23, at Merchantsauto.com Stadium. The first 2,000 kids in attendance will receive a free Coca-Cola Fisher Cats Pennant.
On Friday, April 24, the 6:35pm Fisher Cats/Mets game will be capped by the first Atlas Fireworks Show of the season. Friday is also U.S. Cellular Most Improved Student Night and the inaugural Chili Cookoff at Merchantsauto.com Stadium.
On Saturday, April 25, the first 2,000 fans will receive a free Fisher Cats Hat, courtesy of the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission, prior to the 1:05pm Fisher Cats/Mets game on Deaf & Hard of Hearing Day.
The Fisher Cats and Mets wrap up their series Sunday afternoon at 1:05pm, and the first 1,000 fans through the gates will get free Mini-Bats, presented by Belletetes Building Product Specialists.
Following an off day on Monday, the Fisher Cats open a three-game series against the New Britain Rock Cats at Tuesday night at 6:35pm. Join us for the Celebration of Education, Music Awards Night and the inaugural Manchester/Concord Night, where all residents of either the Queen City or Capital City of New Hampshire will get $3 box seats with proof of residency at the Fisher Cats Ticket Office, courtesy of WGIR/Rock 101.
On Wednesday, April 29, it's Nashua Night at 6:35pm with all Gate City residents receiving $3 box seat tickets with proof of residency at the Fisher Cats Ticket Office, courtesy of Sports Radio WGAM/WSMN-1590. Wednesday is also U.S. Cellular Most Improved Student Night.
The homestand concludes with EnergyNorth Propane Educational Day on Thursday, April 30, at 11:05am.
