The first Atlas FIREWORKS show of the 2009 season is in sight, along with several amazing giveaways and perfect weather. The Fisher Cats open up an action-packed homestand on Thursday, April 23, which includes fireworks, pennants, hats, mini-bats, Lumber Appreciation and the inaugural Chili Cook-Off. And we are so confident the weather will be awesome that WE GUARANTEE IT!!!

Residents of Concord, Manchester and Nashua get ready for $3 box seats!!! The Fisher Cats are excited to announce that Tuesday, April 28, when the Fisher Cats take on the New Britain Rock Cats, is the inaugural Salute to Manchester and Concord! This means you can get $3 Box Seat tickets, presented by WGIR/ROCK 101. Manchester and Concord residents need only show proof of residency, whether it's a driver's license, utility bill or anything else establishing that you're a resident of either the Capital City or the Queen City.
Wednesday, April 29, is the inaugural Nashua Day, with $3 Box Seat tickets for residents of Nashua presented by Sports Radio WGAM and 1590 WSMN.
Both games are scheduled for 6:35pm starts, and you simply need to present proof of residency at the Fisher Cats Ticket Office. There is only one $3 ticket per resident. Tuesday's game also features the All-You-Can-Eat Mexican Fiesta for $14 in the Samuel Adams Bar and Grill (Click HERE for tickets) and Wednesday's game is highlighted with the All-You-Can-Eat Italian Feast for just $12 (Click HERE for tickets). The All-You-Can-Eat buffets begin two hours before game time and run one half hour into the game.

ANNUAL LAW ENFORCEMENT NIGHT COMING UP ON FRIDAY, MAY 22
The annual Law Enforcement Night will be held Friday, May 22. The night will feature the Michael Briggs Community Hero Award and one of a kind Fisher Cats law enforcement uniforms!!! And you have a chance to win one of these jerseys after the game!!!
You can support the Manchester Police Athletic League by purchasing tickets for the exciting night by clicking HERE. The Fisher Cats will host the inaugural Chili Cookoff on Friday, April 24, sponsored by Good Eats of New Hampshire. The one-of-a-kind event will feature several local businesses competing for top honors in a number of categories. Murphy's Tap Room, Jillian's Billiards Club of Manchester, Colby Hill Inn, Billy's Sports Bar & Grill, Cactus Jack's and UNO's Chicago Grill are among the restaurants that will be represented at the ballpark.
Voting categories will include: Hottest, Meatiest, Vegetarian and Most Unique. Fans will be able to start enjoying the chili and making their votes at 5:00pm on the concourse of Merchantsauto.com Stadium behind sections 100 and 101.

Your Fisher Cats wrap up a seven-game road trip today with a doubleheader against the Connecticut Defenders. The Fisher Cats had a successful roadtrip and currently stand in first place in the Northern Division of the Eastern League.
The Fisher Cats starting pitching has been very impressive accumulating a 1.85 ERA so far this season. The Fisher Cats return home Thursday night. FISHER CATS, CITIZENS BANK OFFERING ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE: CITIZENS BANK KIDS RUN THE SHOW ON JUNE 6
The Fisher Cats action-packed entertainment experience is a big part of the game, and on June 6 the team will let children Run the Show! That's right the Fisher Cats have partnered with Citizens Bank to offer the unique Citizens Bank Kids Run the Show. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is open to children between the ages of 6 and 16.
Children can enter their names into a drawing to take on a prominent role at the ballpark for the game. The positions available are Radio Broadcaster, General Manager, Public Address Announcer, Sports Writer, Ticket Taker, Usher, Public Relations Director, Guest Service Manager, Promotions Assistant, Groundskeeper and Scorekeeper.
To be eligible, you must be between the ages of 6 and 16 and available to participate on June 6 from 5:00-9:00pm. You can enter into the contest at State Farm Guest Services or the Fisher Cats Administrative Offices before May 17. NH TIMBERLAND OWNERS ASSOCIATION WILL BE AT MERCHANTSAUTO.COM STADIUM THIS SUNDAY, APRIL 26, TO CELEBRATE LUMBER
The New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association will be coming out to Merchantsauto.com Stadium on Sunday, April 26. The organization will bring exciting elements to the ballpark with the wood carving exhibits, the state's largest outdoor game of checkers and much more.
To keep with the theme of wood for the day, the Fisher Cats will be giving out mini bats to the first 1,000 fans through the gates courtesy of Belletetes Building Products Specialists for the 1:05pm game. The Fisher Cats staff will also have wood-themed promotions, costumes, music and much more!!!
The NHTOA is a non-profit statewide coalition of landowners, forest industry professionals, government officials, and supporters who work together to promote better forest management, conserve our working forests, and ensure a strong forest products industry.
