Panthers Send Michal Repik to Rampage

SUNRISE, FL (January 20, 2012) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that right wing Michal Repik has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Repik, 22, was recalled to the Panthers on Dec. 26, 2011 and has appeared in 16 games posting two goals and three assists with Florida this season. In 22 games with the Rampage this season, Repik has registered three goals and 14 assists. He has played in 71 National Hockey League contests over three seasons, all with Florida, scoring nine goals with 11 assists and 36 PIM. The Vlasim, Czech Republic native was drafted by Florida in the second round (40th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

The Rampage will attempt to set a world record for most dogs at a sporting event at their fifth annual Pucks & Paws game this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center. Tickets for you and your dog are $20 and $5 from each dog ticket will be donated to Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare (AAPAW). Adoption Stations will be stationed along the concourse where fans will have the chance to help find a forever home for a four-legged friend.
