Penguins Return Schnell to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have returned forward Ryan Schnell on loan to the Wheeling Nailers.

Originally recalled from Wheeling on Nov. 14, Schnell had appeared in three games for the Nailers this season, compiling 19 minutes of penalties. He has also notched an assist and 46 PIM 12 contests with the Penguins.

The 22-year old third-year pro has played in 96 games with the Nailers over the past two seasons, totaling five goals, six assists and 331 PIM.
