Jets Re-Assign Postma to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have re-assigned defenceman Paul Postma to the St. John's IceCaps.

Postma, 22, has played in 30 games with the IceCaps this season racking up 27 points (6g, 21a) and 16 penalty minutes. The Red Deer, AB native currently leads his club's defensive group in scoring and is also ranked fourth in scoring amongst all AHL defencemen. So far this season, Postma has appeared in three games with the Winnipeg Jets.

He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the seventh round, 205th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
