
Pair Of Broncos Make Team WHL

Calgary AB., - The Western Hockey League has announced that Swift Current Broncos' forwards Cody Eakin and Justin Dowling have made Team WHL for the upcoming Subway Series between the Canadian Hockey League and Russia.
Eakin and Dowling will both play in Victoria on Wednesday November 25th. Both players are off to hot starts in their 3rd seasons with the Broncos. Currently Eakin leads the WHL in goals with 15 and has 20 points to lead the Broncos in scoring. Dowling is second on the team scoring with 17 points.
Last year, Swift Current along with Prince Albert were the WHL host cities for this event. This year, along with Kelowna, Victoria will also host a Subway Series game. The game will be featured on Rogers Sportsnet and Hockey Canada uses the series to scout for the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championships.
