Calgary Hitmen Open BC Road Trip With 4-1 Loss In Kelowna

Kelowna, BC - The Calgary Hitmen saw their season high five game winning streak come to an end Wednesday night with a 4-1 loss in Kelowna.

Adam Brown made 35 saves to lead the Rockets while Stepan Novotny had three points (2g 1a).

Joel Broda, with his seventh of the season, scored the lone goal for the Hitmen who trailed 2-0 after both the first and second periods.

Brandon Kozun had an assist for Calgary to stretch his point scoring streak to nine games.

Calgary is now 12-4 on the season. The Hitmen road trip continues Friday night in Vancouver against the 10-3-1-2 Giants.
