Pair of Aeros Moved to DL

Akron RubberDucks News Release
The Akron Aeros made a couple of roster moves today as LHP Kelvin De La Cruz and IF Carlos Rivero were placed on the disabled list, OF Lucas Montero was activated from the disabled list, and IF Daniel DeGeorge was received from Class A Mahoning Valley.
Montero has played in 10 games for the Aeros this year after being called up from Class A Kinston on July 29. He has went 8-34 with three walks, a double, a triple, and two runs scored so far with Akron. He was placed on the disabled list after his best outing this season after he went 3-5 with a triple and run scored against Reading on August 19th. DeGeorge joins the Aeros after playing 43 games with the short season Scrappers of Mahoning Valley. The infielder has spent most of his time playing second base. During his time with the Scrappers, he had a batting average of .252 with eight walks, five doubles, 14 runs, and seven RBI. Montero will once again wear jersey No. 50. DeGeorge will wear jersey No. 9.
The Aeros roster remains at the full 24 men.
