
Rock Cats Receive Pitcher From Ft. Myers

New Britain Rock Cats News Release
New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats of the Eastern League had a roster move today, receiving RHP Bruce Pugh from Ft. Myers in the Florida State League.
The 22-year-old native of Pasadena, MD joins New Britain after having made 20 overall appearances (19 starts) for the 2010 Miracle. The 6'3"/180-pound product of Hillsborough Community College (FL) departed the Sunshine State with a 7-10 record and 4.03 ERA. A 19th Round selection of the Minnesota Twins in 2008, the hard-throwing Pugh fanned 106 batters in 102.2 total innings of work for Ft. Myers.
He will be in uniform tonight when the Rock Cats host Bowie at 7:05 PM at New Britain Stadium.
