Drabek, 22, has anchored the pitching rotation for New Hampshire all season, compiling a 14-9 record with a 2.98 ERA. In 2010, Drabek was named to the Eastern League mid-season and post-season All-Star teams, making the start on July 14 in Harrisburg, PA and throwing one scoreless inning for the Eastern Division. The 6'1", 190-pound hurler was also named Eastern League Pitcher of the Week after throwing the first nine-inning no-hitter in franchise history during a 5-0 win against the New Britain Rock Cats on July 4th.

Kyle, who is the son of former National League Cy Young Award winner Doug Drabek, was acquired by Toronto as part of the Roy Halladay trade on December 16, 2009. Drabek was originally selected by the Philadelphia Phillies as the 18th overall pick in the first round of the 2006 draft.

Southpaw Rudy Owens of Altoona finished second for the award, while Harrisburg left-handed starter Tom Milone finished third. This award was voted on by Eastern League managers, writers, broadcast personnel and other members of the media.
