New York, March 9, 2007 -- New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that center Jarkko Immonen and defenseman David Liffiton have been reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Immonen, 24, has appeared in 14 games with the Rangers this season, recording one goal and five assists, along with four penalty minutes. After being recalled from Hartford (AHL) on February 27, Immonen has skated in three of the last five games, registering two assists for the Blueshirts. In 36 games with Hartford this season, the 6-0, 210-pound center has collected 27 points (10 goals and 17 assists), along with 20 penalty minutes.

Liffiton, 22, has collected one goal and nine assists, along with 150 penalty minutes in 59 games with Hartford (AHL) this season. The 6-2, 210-pound defenseman did not dress in last night's game against the New York Islanders after his emergency recall from Hartford on March 6.
