Columbus Blue Jackets Recall Forward Alexandre Picard From Crunch

Syracuse, NY (March 9, 2007) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled left wing Alexandre Picard from the Crunch.

Picard, 21, has appeared in nine games with the Blue Jackets this season and has collected 14 penalty minutes in 26 career NHL games with the club. In 47 games with Syracuse, he has 11 goals, 17 assists and 73 penalty minutes. He ranks third on the club with eight power play goals. Columbus' top pick in the 2004 Entry Draft, he has registered 26 goals, 32 assists and 125 penalty minutes in 92 career AHL games.
