SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Minnesota Wild President and General Manager Doug Risebrough announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled RW Matt Foy from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The Aeros are set to host the Peoria Rivermen on Saturday at 7:35 p.m. The first 3,000 fans receive an Aeros bandana. Foy, 23 (5/18/83), has tallied 44 points (24-20=44) in 53 games with Houston this season and leads the team in goals, points and power play goals (10). The 6-foot-2, 219-pound forward has appeared in nine games with the Wild this season and has not registered a point while averaging 7:10 of ice time. Last season Foy appeared in 19 games with Minnesota, notching five points (2-3=5) and 16 penalty minutes (PIM).

The Oakville, Ontario-native was originally selected by Minnesota in the sixth round (175th overall) of the 2002 Entry Draft. He will wear No. 83 with Minnesota.
