PRINCETON, N.J. - Brampton Beast forward David Pacan has been named the CCM ECHL Player of the Month for February.

Pacan scored 11 goals, added 11 assists and was a +14 in February, helping the Beast to an 11-1-2 record during the month.

The 25-year-old tallied at least one point 10 of his 14 games during Feburary including a four-point game (1g-3a) in a 5-4 win at Toledo on Feb. 11. Pacan had three points in a game three times (Feb. 3 vs. Elmira, Feb. 12 at Indy and Feb. 17 at Wheeling).

A native of Ottawa, Pacan has 59 points (32g-27a) in 50 games with the Beast this season. He is tied for the league lead in goals while ranking tied for 12th in points.

Selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the sixth round (177th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Pacan has posted 258 points (90g-168a) in 303 career ECHL games with Cincinnati, Kalamazoo, South Carolina and Brampton. He was named to the 2012-13 ECHL All-Rookie Team after tallying 52 points (14g-38a) in 57 games with the Cyclones. Pacan has added five points (1g-4a) in 26 career American Hockey League games with San Antonio, Utica, Norfolk and Syracuse.

Prior to turning pro, Pacan had 126 points (49g-77a) in 133 career games with Niagara of the Ontario Hockey League.
