
P-Bruins ready for Atlantic Division shootout

The Providence Bruins return to action on home ice on Friday, February 6 at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack in a matchup of the top two teams in the Atlantic Division. The game is the eighth of 10 between the clubs this season. The Bruins took a 1-0 decision in the last meeting, on January 21 in Hartford. The teams rank as two of the AHL's best defensively. Hartford ranks second in the league with an average of 1.9 goals against per game, while the Bruins rank sixth, with an average of 2.2 goals against per game. Hartford leads the division with its 25-16-8-1 record (59 points), while the Bruins are in second place, just four points back, with their 22-15-10-1 record.
Friday's game will be televised live on COX 3. Providence broadcaster Corey Masse will handle the play-by-play duties, while longtime college and professional analyst Bob Norton will be the color analyst. Adam Alper will call the game on radio on WDDZ AM-550.
The Bruins visit the Portland Pirates on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. before hitting the AHL All-Star Break. They return to action on Friday, February 13 at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Worcester IceCats. That game will also be televised on COX 3.
