Hershey Bears News Release

HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the Colorado Avalanche that defenseman Brett Clark has been recalled to the NHL club.

Clark has not missed a game due to injury since joining the BEARS in January, 2002. After appearing in all 80 games last season, Clark has missed just two games this season in a BEARS uniform when he was recalled to Denver on November 29th. He is expected to be available for Colorado when they face-off with the Detroit Red Wings tonight at Pepsi Center. This is Clark's second recall of the season to the Avalanche; he played in one game without a point earlier this season.

Following a road game at Binghamton Friday, HERSHEY will finish off the pre All-Star game schedule with a home game against the Syracuse Crunch Saturday night. Face-off Saturday is set for 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the Saturday game with Syracuse are available at the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 534-3911.
