
P-Bruins fall to Hartford

The Providence Bruins saw their four-game unbeaten streak (3-0-1-0) come to an end on Friday night, as they fell to the Hartford Wolf Pack, 3-1. The Bruins are now tied with the Worcester IceCats for second place in the Atlantic Division with their 13-9-5-0 record, just two points behind Hartford.
Bruin right wing Carl Corazzini scored his sixth goal of the season, a shorthanded marker in the first period. Goaltender Tim Thomas made 22 saves, and is 6-5-3 on the season. Hartford's third goal was an empty net goal.
Prior to the start of the game, the Bruins began their Holiday Hats & Mittens Drive. The Bruins' wives and girlfriends will continue the drive on Sunday, December 14 from 2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The drive concludes on Friday, December 19 from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Fans are asked to donate hats and mittens in the Dunkin' Donuts Center box office lobby to benefit the Salvation Army of Rhode Island.
The Bruins and Lowell Lock Monsters begin a home-and-home series on Saturday night in Lowell at 7:00 p.m. Catch all the action live on WDDZ AM-550. The Bruins host Lowell on Sunday, December 14 at 4:05 p.m.
