The HERSHEY BEARS lose for the second game in a row on the road, (14-8-4-2) falling 3-1 to the Norfolk Admirals at the Scope in Norfolk. Pascal Trepanier got the BEARS on the board with a goal in the final minute of the first period, but the Admirals would score three unanswered goals. Tom Lawson takes the loss for the BEARS. His record now standing at 6-3-0.

HERSHEY would head into the locker room with a 1-0 lead after one period of play. Pascal Trepanier, assisted by Sheldon Keefe and Eric Perrin, put the puck behind Admiral's goalie, Craig Anderson after scooping the puck off the wall. It was his third goal of the season.

The BEARS would muster just four shots in the second period, barely testing Anderson. Norfolk would tie the score at 18:17. The two teams would end the second period tied at 1-1.

The third period would see Norfolk score a goal and add an empty-net insurance goal. HERSHEY had a flurry at the end with Lawson on the bench, but could not put the puck in the net.

The BEARS return home to face the Worcester Ice Cats, Saturday at GIANT Center. It is Teddy Bear Toss Night. When the BEARS score their first goal, all fans are encouraged to throw a teddy bear out on to the ice. They will be distributed to local charities as holiday gifts. Face off is at 7:00 pm. Catch all the BEARS action on BIG 92.7 where John Walton will provide play-by-play, with the pre-game show beginning at 6:40 pm.
