
Moose Re-Assign Burrows to Inferno

Today the Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have reassigned forward Alexandre Burrows to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.
Burrows played in one game with the Moose during his recent recall. He failed to register a point on Dec.6 vs. Rochester. The Pincourt, PQ native has played in 16 games with the Inferno this season, scoring five goals and 12 assists for 17 points, while accumulating 74 penalty minutes.
Burrows, 22, attended Moose training camp this year and participated in two exhibition games with Manitoba against the Toronto Roadrunners in Thunder Bay, ON on October 3rd and 4th. The 22-year old native of Montreal, PQ failed to score a point in either game, but did register three shots and two penalty minutes. He was assigned to Columbia of the ECHL on October 5, 2003.
In 2002-03, Burrows split time with the Greenville Grrrowl and the Baton Rouge Kingfish of the ECHL. He played in 53 games with the Grrrowl scoring nine goals and 26 points along with 201 PIM. With the Kingfish, he scored four goals and six points and collected 64 PIM before the club folded.
