Evansville Otters News Release
Evansville, IN â The Evansville Otters (49-33) will play the Florence Freedom (25-58) in a doubleheader set to begin at 5:05. The gates will open at 3:30. The teams will play two seven-inning contests. The all-time attendance record for the Evansville Otters is 111,039 set in 1999. The Otters have drawn 110,850, an average of 2,842, in 39 home dates this year. The Otters need only 190 fans to break the record. This is an auspicious milestone for any club.
The new attendance record is a fitting memorial to the leadership of long-time General Manager Jim Miller, who passed away on July 11. The entire organization has Jim in mind as they celebrate this accomplishment.
Tuesdays are Deaconess Neuro Services' two-for-Tuesdays with two-for-one admission at the gate. For tickets or information call (812) 435-8686.
